Expanded and upgraded in 2016, and fully equipped to handle the increasing demands of the market with the most modern analysis and control equipment, it sets the bar for the industry as a whole.
Working closely with the production and technical departments, the Laboratory provides thoroughgoing controls along the entire production chain and assures total traceability, repeatability and conformity with the most stringent international standards.
It provides the following main services, among others:
Dimensional and geometric control using high precision instrumentation
Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers hardness testing and traction tests (Rm, Rp 0,2, A5%)
Metallographic analysis with optical microscopes
Quantitative chemical analysis using optical emission spectometry (OES)
Micro analysis using an electron microscope (SEM)
Support for R&D and the development of new products and heat treatments
